CLASSE REU 2009 Program Information
2008 REU participants.
The 2009 Program has 11 participants; no other offers will be made.
The 2009 Brochure and the 2009 Poster are available for downloading. The lists of project offerings and participants have been merged to reflect the matchings. Students and mentors should contact each other before the summer begins.
View the 2009 Activities Calendar. There are several other REU programs on campus in the summer. While many of the events in them are specific to the participants of the individual programs, some are REU-wide. Check them out too! This year's summer programs residence hall is William Keeton House, the fourth of five new dormitories on Cornell's West Campus, as shown on Cornell's Housing and Dining Map. Check-in this summer will be Sat/Sun 30/31 May and the 10-week program will run Monday 1 June through Friday, 7 August; checkout is to be by noon of 8 August. We have posted notes from a tour of the facility. In addition, Campus Life has provided us with a PDF of "House Rules" that apply to all Cornell residence units (such as Keeton House); many of these will not apply to you, but you should certainly peruse them. See the Travel Guidelines for 2009. A student parking map is available on the web; permits associated with Keeton House are WD (West Dorm). Other maps are also available. Also there is the LEPP Campus Map; it shows important dining, housing and laboratory sites.

The
Summer Program 2008 Information Sheet, distributed by Cornell Campus Life, gives lots of useful information, most of which is still
relevant for 2009.
