Computing Facilities
Network
Wireless access will provided via Cornell's Red Rover service. The available wireless networks are described
here, but Red Rover Guest should be sufficient for almost every need
- Red Rover Guest provides limited internet access for guests of Cornell (who do not have net IDs)
- Red Rover is for members of the Cornell community who have net IDs
Please note the wireless internet access is NOT guaranteed. A limited number of wireless access points and a limited amount of bandwidth is provided by Cornell Information Technologies, which should be sufficient for casual web browsing and emailing, but will function poorly or not at all if overloaded.
