Guidelines for Speaker Presentations at SRF2005 Workshop

  1. Paper IDs were assigned to all presentations at the workshop. Please use them as a reference in all future correspondence regarding your presentation.
  2. Presentations should be made electronically using the equipment provided by the workshop. The presentation stations will be PCs with Windows XP installed. An overhead projector will be provided as a backup.
  3. We ask all speakers to submit their presentations as PowerPoint or PDF files in advance. You can upload the file using our online paper submission. The file must be named with the paper ID and “_talk.ppt” or “_talk.pdf” (for example, MoA01_talk.ppt). For large files (>10 MB) and for presentations that include video or audio files, please compress files into a single .zip file for uploading.
  4. Please read the special precautions regarding fonts at http://www.sns.gov/pac05/speaker_guidelines.shtml
  5. The scientific secretary on the podium will be available to help you with your presentation if needed. Please get in contact with him or her before the session with your talk starts.
  6. You will have control over your presentation by a keyboard, mouse, and LCD screen on the speaker’s desk. A laser pointer will be available.
  7. The remaining time for your talk will be displayed on a second LCD screen in front of you.
  8. Carry a color printout of your slides (on transparencies) with you to the podium in case there are problems.
