Abstract:

CLEO has previously published the results of an anti-search for the $f_J(2220)$ in 2-photon
Interactions based on 3.0 \invfb\ of \epem\ interactions. Now we use the entire CLEO II/II.V
dataset of 13.6 \invfb\ to find a new upper limit of the width times branching fraction,
$\Gamma_{\phot\phot}{\cal B}_{\ks\ks}$ of less than 0.98 eV at the 95$\%$ C.L;
systematic uncertainties are included. This limit compares with the limit of 1.4 eV.
We use our limit to extract a new lower limit for the stickiness (ratio of color
charge to electric charge) of the $f_J(2220)$.
