CCON (Cleo Calibration Constants)

MOST calibration constants files for the CLEO experiment are in ZEBRA exchange format since September 1991. They exist with the extension name .zfx on all three major types of platforms in Wilson lab; the VAX cluster (LNS62), the DEC station cluster (LNS717), the ALPHA cluster (LNS101) and the online constants (LNSON1). The beam position and crossing angle are stored in sequential and/or direct access files with the extension .seq and .dac respectively on all platforms.

The CLEO detector crate constants file, C3L.FIL, is on LNS309 (for more on DAQ).

There are eight constants' files , zz.zfx, in ZEBRA format:

zz = cc (Crystal calorimeter)
     cd (Central detector drift chambers, Vertex detectors,PTL)
     cg (CLEO Geometry)
     de (dE/dX)
     mu (Muon tracking system)
     tf (Time of flight system)
     tr (Trigger)
     sv (silicon vertex detector (SVX))

In addition to the above files there are six calibration output files calyy.zfx (yy = cc, cd, de, mu, tf, sv) on the online system (LNSON1).

The beam position and crossing angle are stored in runinf.xxx and xang.xxx respectively, where xxx = dac or seq.

The ZFILES package manages the the CLEO II ZEBRA data banks and constants files.
