where "shell_script" is a script in the local directory which
runs an executable.
Such a script can look like this for a binary
compiled and linked under rh9:
#$ -S /bin/csh
#$ -l arch=lx24-x86
cd /home/critten/bin
program.exe
The job will be assigned a number (e.g. 87835).
The output will be
directed to a file called shell_script.o87835 in your home directory.
The
error output will be directed to file called shell_script.e87835
