Electron energy orbit

The plots below show the evolution in energy of an electron which
starts at the IP with an energy offset relative to the closed-orbit
by -3 per mil.
The CHESS orbit is shown on the left; the CESRc orbit is on the right.
Note the energy loss distributed throughout the ring in the CHESS
optics and concentrated at the superconducting wigglers in the CESRc
optics.
The energy change at the ends of RF-cavity elements
are shown in blue. These elements have been split by positions of
parasitic beam-beam crossings.
The positron current has been set
to zero in calculating these orbits.
