One thing I miss, living in the US, is having spring be a nice gradual process that starts sometime around early February and continues until... well, whenever you feel like you have to call it summer because it's unreasonable to keep calling it spring. That's what you get for living in a place with a continental climate as opposed to a coastal one, I suppose. Anyway, one thing I particularly miss seeing is the anemones which blanket the forest floor for a couple of weeks every year in April.
