ERL model, in which the accelerating beam (10 mA)
is turned on at 5.1 ms on crest, and the decelerating
beam is turned on at 10.1 ms, also at 10 mA, exactly 180 
degrees out of phase.

The top two plots show the RESULTANT beam amplitude and phase.
