ENROLLMENT: To enroll in the course, please see Rosemary French in Clark Hall 121. You do not need the instructor's permission to enroll.
FIRST MEETING: Wednesday, August 25, 2010, 8:40--9:55 am (coffee not included!), RF 105.
NO LECTURE ON WED 09/22: I will be out of town. A makeup lecture will be scheduled, if needed, towards the end of the semester.
MESSENGER LECTURES: Do not miss this year's Messenger Lectures by Nima Arkani-Hamed from the Institute for Advanced Studies at Princeton, on "The Future of Fundamental Physics". There will be 5 lectures the week of October 4-8. For more information, see this website.
The office hour on Monday, November 8 is cancelled; please email me for an appointment if necessary.

MAKE-UP LECTURE on Friday 12/03 will begin at 9:00 am, not 8:40 am as originally announced.

MAKE-UP LECTURE will be on Friday December 3 9:00-9:55 am in Rock 105. If you cannot come to the lecture, you can make an appointment with me to go over the material covered.

Problem Set 9: Problem 3 is optional. If you decide to do it, skip part (c), since we have not covered dimensional regularization; this will be covered in the first week of Physics 7652 in Spring.

The last problem set (#9) is now posted. The final due date for ALL problem sets is Wednesday December 8 at 12 noon. Late problem sets can be turned in in my office (Newman Lab 334) or my mailbox on the 1st floor of Newman Lab.

FINAL EXAM will be a 24-hour, take-home exam. It can be taken at any time between Monday December 6 and Thursday December 16. Email me at least 24 hours in advance with the time you would like to start your exam.
