Illumination bugs when a cylinder model is concentric to a star

These bugs are seen both in Celestia v1.4.0 final and in Celestia v1.4.1 cvs.

In both cases, the inner surface should be illuminated evenly by its local star, with additional illumination by Sol and the other nearby star.

The outer surface should be illuminated by Sol and the other star.

Neither of these effects are seen.

  1. cyl and cylstar have identical orbital parameters (both orbit Sol)
    Symptoms:
illumination of inside and outside of cylinder flashes on and off rapidly

  2. Cyl2 orbits CylStar2
    Symptoms:
neither inside nor outside of cylinder is illuminated by star or sol
