CLASSE stands for Cornell Laboratory for Accelerator-based ScienceS and Education

Cosmology

CLASSE's cosmology group is focusing on developing new instrumentation to study the formation and evolution of the universe through precision measurements of microwave radiation.

Fundamental aspects of the universe are still not understood and are being investigated by a group of scientists and students, participating in the data analysis and development of the Atacama Cosmology Telescope, as well as the Tomographic Ionized Carbon Intensity Mapping Experiment (TIME), and technology R&D for other collaborative projects
