CESR Luminosity Performance

These figures are the highest values measured during normal High Energy Physics running with a beam energy of 5.3 GeV. They did not necessarily occur simultaneously.

Best integrated luminosity 73 /pb per day (April 2001)
1520 /pb per month (Dec 2000)
6350 /pb per year (2000)
Beam current 365 mA/beam, 36 bunches/beam
(2 beams (e+/e-) each with 9 trains of 5 bunches)
